And there's more...

(pictures that is...)

Here are the final pics and details on our newest pieces:

1) Antiqued White Desk:
Solid, solid, solid wood.  The top is stained a beautiful dark walnut stain and it has 9 drawers for tons of storage!  This desk is not only practical but it's also pretty darn cute!
 {$175}

2) French Blue Side Table
LOVE the way this turned out.  The color is just beautiful.  Again, we sanded down the top and stained it to keep the natural wood because it was so pretty.  Solid wood with gorgeous legs.
{$70}

3) Kid's Chalkboard Play Table
One of a kind!  This solid wood table has been painted with chalkboard paint on the sideboards and top!  Hand painted ABC border around the top makes it perfect for any kid's room.  Has a drawer for storage of chalk and toys!
{$70}

4) Distressed White Side Table
This is a very unique piece.  Again, very solid wood!  This side table has rounded and squared edges, as well as thick base.  Deep drawer for storage is lined with old newspaper for an added vintage touch.

New Pieces & our first yard sale!

We scored a few pieces out garage sale-ing last weekend.  We have been working hard on these, plus a few other pieces.  What are we working so hard for?  Well, let me tell you... :)

This one above is an old sewing machine table (has sewing machine inside!)  Can't wait to finish and reveal this one!

An old side table - love the legs!!

Another Desk! :) For those who were bummed they missed out on the first one.  Anyone have a request on color?

Now, back to why we are working so hard...

We are gearing up for our very first "Yard Sale Saturday"

"The Shop" will officially be open from 9am-Noon this Saturday!

The pieces you saw above will be available plus much more including:

Picture Frames, Old Windows, Necklaces, hair clips, chalk board slates, dressers, mirrors, and side tables galore :)  You don't wanna miss out!!  Please pass the word...

Phew...

In case you were wondering...We're still alive :)

Sorry for the hiatus, you all know how summer gets away from you (or at least pretend you know).

Anyway, here's a small update on a few of many projects we've been working on:

1) We finished our (green) desk.  That's right, sorry, we painted over the white.  It just didn't have enough pizazz.  Now it's uber-pizzazed.  Check 'er out:

{Distressed Green Desk}
Description: This desk, painted a beautiful, earthy green, would be a great workspace in an office, craft room, or even just to add a pop of color in any room of the house.  3 drawers on each side and a pencil drawer in the middle.  The original antique brass hardware is a great contrast to the bold green color.  Sealed and ready to go!
| Price: $125 |

2) Metallic full sized dresser.

This piece was so much fun to work on!  Kris talked me into painting it black, and it was a great decision.  We had seen a lot of black & gold furniture and she couldn't resist trying it out.  We didn't go the gold route :) but rather finished it with a coat of a silver metallic.

{Metallic 4 drawer black dresser}
Description: This is a funky piece.  A mix of antique style shape and legs with a modern finish.  We know someone out there has the perfect room to put it in!  Painted black and finished with a metallic sheen.  Though we forgot the hardware in the pic, it does come with antique brass handles.  The drawers work well and are great for a lot of storage.
| Price: $135 |

3)  Clayville Festival.

It's only July, but we are starting to prepare.  Put in on your calendars now :) September 17th and 18th we will have a booth at the Clayville Fall Festival.  We are planning to have a lot of new pieces available as well as more of our handmade jewelry and hair clips.  This means more late nights of sanding, painting, and preparing.

That's all for now, folks!  Check back soon, I promise to update more often than not! :)

Almost Finished :)

Here's our latest project... just... about... finished.  But thought we'd give you a little peak and ask for some help!

Love love love this piece.  If someone doesn't snag this quick it might end up
in my (Kendahl's) house...no, seriously ;)

All we need to do is finish the hardware and give it a final coat of paint.  Here's where you come in... we originally thought about a fun color (turquoise, earthy green (my fave!) pale yellow, etc),
but are now loving the simple white...what to do think?

Tell us your opinion, thanks!
